Okay, so you've mastered the art of the gradient tool in some form of MS Paint or PSP or something. Before you start posting art that you consider professional, get professional help.
It just makes me mad. It just does.

Alright, relative to a crappy stick figure drawing (Only the non animated kind) your drawings are fair. It honestly offends me that you think that your work is excellent on any scale. None of your drawings are professional grade or even pleasent to look at.
Most of them are just two second sketches with huge eyes and ridiculously small hands that are painful to look at.
Your 'art' is not pleasent to look at, and I tried to be reasonable before, and not rude. And lets face it, I'm critiquing, not bashing you. I don't even know what to tell you that can *help* you.
Just please for the sake of my mind, and I'm sure the mind of many who have come across your page, stop refering to your art as "almost professional" when it's quite honestly the opposite.
It's not even good.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but you're spending a bit too much energy on something that's not worth it in your life - complaining.
To Flyingtoaster:
Anatomy books have helped me a lot when it comes to the hands/feet problem. Also, try sketching more off-the-computer. I was WAAAYYY worse off than you when I started computer art, but I was fairly good (considered excellent for my age) when I drew on paper. People really liked my stuff.

Point taken. You're right. My art is nowhere near being professional, and though I try my hardest every time I draw to do it well, I can't seem to get it right. Yes they have huge eyes, that's anime for you, but as for the hands and stuff...I just can't draw it right. No matter how hard I try, it's not good enough, apparently.

Why do people enjoy my work? Because, according to them, it's good. On my scale, it's excellent, as I never dreamed I'd ever be able to draw anime, or anything, well. I never will be a really excellent artist, like ~zyrael or anybody, but for me...this IS good. Professional-grade? Nope. Almost? Only one, because I based it off a professional drawing.
I'm certainly not a master at the gradient tool, however. If you want to see some REALLY good gradients, check out ~JanusArtison 's stuff. His coloring blows mine out of the water. Thank you for the compliment, though!
