Hello everyone!It is my great pleasure to welcome you to my newly formed DeviantArt account! I would like to introduce myself, but first, allow me to thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting the Arts, and for allowing me to share my passion with you.
My name is Kendra. I am a self-taught artist specializing in realistic pencil sketches of wild animals and more recently delving into digital anime/furry paintings and 3D mascot costumes or "fursuits" - which happen to combine my three favorite things in the entire world: artwork, improvised acting/pantomime, and animals. Eventually, I hope to be able to commission and sell my fursuits - perhaps after I graduate from college. I am a Medical Technology major in college, and my biggest dream is to live near the Florida beach and to own a yellow Chevy Corvette. :) My account name comes partly from my nickname in middle school and partly from my fursona - a female spotted jaguar with brilliantly colored macaw wings and tail (sorry, I haven't finished a picture of her yet - hopefully, I'll get one done soon). If you have any requests for fanart or furry art, please feel free to ask; however, I am a Christian, so I will not do naughty art (not even if it is censored).
I am an avid animal enthusiast; I especially admire big cats, wolves, horses, and birds of prey. I own several pets as well: 2 dogs named Persnicketty and Jubilee (my third dog Midget sadly passed away this year); 3 cats named Quest, Chaka, and Elvis; and over a dozen head of "Coturnix" or "Pharaoh" quail. Although painting etc., is my forte, I am a huge fan of all the Arts, including theatre, animation, music, and dance. Some of my favorite plays are "Wicked" "The Lion King" "Million Dollar Quartet" "Barnum" and "Little Shop of Horrors;" and my favorite styles of music are pop (especially Michael Jackson), latin pop, classic 80's rock, and celtic music. I have not watched a ton of anime, but I'm a huge fan of "Digimon", "Black Cat", "Psycho-Pass", and the original "Yugioh" series, and I'm starting to watch "Naruto."
