I'm not gonna lecture you my dear but you should do what you want. Personally I hate standing still but it's not like I don't have doubts. My skills are nothing compared to some of my favourite artists, I constantly question whether i'm good enough but you gotta push past it.

I think you would like to know also that there is no word in my language (Portuguese) for fireweed in Wikipedia. So, I just could see some pics of these beautiful flowers to learn what is it, haha. And I´ve never heard before about its scientific name, "Chamerion angustifolium", or other ways people call it, like "Rosebay" and "Willow-herb".

Honestly I hardly ever look at anything other the galleries of my fellow deviant artists. The idea of being able to see a painting done by someone (mostly) on the opposite side of the equator, without leaving my lovely log house, only really caught up to me with your comment. ^^’ I’d never heard the scientific name for Alaska’s flaming weed either, and it’s rather pretty. Rosebay is a new name to me as well, thanks for sharing! And Portuguese has no word for fireweed? I like nibbling on languages too much to be shocked, but it does make you wonder about the reliability of one-click translation websites~
