I read the comment you left to Dobson and thought it was respectful and good advice. Sorry he treated you so rudely. Once upon a time I also followed him, but he's just become so entrenched in his victim mentality that I couldn't take it anymore. I'm truly surprised anyone is still a fan of his. Oh well, onward and upward for the rest of us!

It's sad to see that Tom just won't listen to anyone anymore, hater or fan. He's basically become nothing but a hater himself and just rots in it. Your comment was perfectly reasonable and all he does is just insult and belittle you without question. It must be frustrating to have him respond like that. That response from him ticked me off over how he can't read your comment but goes and writes a "tl;dr" journal himself and just acting "innocent". It doesn't help that his fans don't even notice this and instead choose to whine over DA's logo like him.

I still wonder why Tom hasn't been banned off of DA yet due to all the "fuck you"s and other threats/insults he has dealt to people, his fans or otherwise. There's a lot of screen caps and links to them. A ban would really be nice. On Twitter too.

Jesus Christ I just read that exchange between you and Dobson where he just unapologetically shit all over everything you said and after how sincere and friendly you were it legit makes me angry. I imagine you're even more disillusioned now than you were before. And if so, I totally know how you feel.

Wanted to give you respect for that comment on Dobson's page.

It's a shame he became so bitter and negative and elitistic or... whatever you want to call it in the end, that he's willing to just go "TL'DR UR ADVICE SUX" on you or others who were civil, but is willing to take the time of day to respond to every single negative comment he receives and mock it endlessly.

Well, you're great for trying, sorry it didn't work out as you hoped and he didn't even listen to you, instead answered like an ass. Hopefully you'll find some other artists to look up to and feel good about the internet, Dobson now appears as a lost cause.

I totally agreed with you, though, I was a former fan of his as well and could relate to the old comics or at least chuckle but recently all his comics have been mean and attacking people, just as he has.

I have read the comment you wrote on Tom Preston's profile. Let me tell you that I found it very inspirational. You were giving Tom very good tips and encouraging him despite his selfish attitude. Even if he didn't read it (too bad for him) : I did and appreciated your gesture. It's not everyone who would take the time to do that.

But you know, giving advices to Tom is like talking to a fucking wall... and he unfortunately pays more attention to his "haters" and "detractors" than his real fans.
