Not bad! We celebrated Christmas today and I got a new battery for my laptop and a laptop cooler as well, which I've been in need of! And some other nice things. I get two weeks off work so that's always good. How are you? Any holiday plans?

Camping on the beach. I've never gone to the beach for New Years before so this will be quite a new experience for me! Do you have a New Year's resolution this year? I always end up forgetting mine after a couple months, but I always think them up for fun. I'm still trying to think of one now.

Yeah, we'll probably drink a couple nights. What kind of job are you looking for? I groom dogs for a living. Not exactly my career of choice, but it's for the money and temporary until I go to uni. ^_^

Camping was great.. so relaxing. I've never been on such a big beach before. But that must be nothing new to an Australian.

Anything new or interesting.. mm.. not really. I'm so tired after getting into the routine of sitting around. I just had my first week back at work and I'm dead on a Friday night! So sad..

Do you party or go out much on the weekends?

I've been pretty good. Except our cat passed away.. we think she got bitten by a snake. She came home really sick and when we took her to the vet they had to put her down. We miss her a lot.

But yeah.. things are pretty good. We're going to Melbourne in three weeks so I'm excited about that and really can't wait. ^_^

Not really nervous about the matura, but rather a little bit lost when it comes to choosing the paths we're gonna follow after graduating. That leads to the question what subjects should we pick for the matura, as different universities and majors require different subjects. The choice must be made by the end of September, although we may change our minds till December, I think. Well, at least it's a problem for me and some people I've talked to. We either have too many ideas, or none at all.

And because of the recent changes in the education and examination systems, even the teachers are not completely sure about the rules this year, or whether they're gonna change or not. It doesn't really leave us any time to get nervous about the exams themselves. Yet. But as for me, I'm already a bit worried about my procrastinating habits & laziness and whether I'll be done with the studying on time The thought of the oral matura parts scares me, too...
