Yes, I did.
It isn't a lot of effort to do after you get the hang of not missing bits and sectioning it, even with lots of colours.

x3 When I tried to dye the ends of my hair purple it came out horrid and washed out. Hopefully I'll get better at it. Your hair looks professionally done, do you dye it a lot for practice or is it just slowly overtime you get better at it?

I've had dyed hair for six years, but my mom did it up until last year. I've dyed my own hair a total of three different styles, including this one.
I haven't really got better or worse over time. It's just research.

I'd give you advice, but it really depends on what you're going for and what you're using. Advice for the dyes I use would make your hair literally fall out for regular store bought boxed dyes. xD When if it was actually used on the same dyes I use, it would actually leave your hair leaving really, really soft and quite lovely. My dyes last longer than 3 months, but I redye them then anyway because of regrowth.

Huh, you certainly know you're stuff! I always thought that no matter what dye you used it would make your hair unhealthy and stiff. What dye do you use that makes your soft and lasts months? Do you mix it yourself or is it a special place that you buy it at? Also, when your researching, how do you know what to look for? Usually when I do I just get a bunch of tutorials and dye suggestions. Is there a specific way to run the dye through your hair that makes it look nice or is it all based on the dye you use? Sorry for all the questions by the way!

I'll note you a site you can use to learn more things about it, and to show you what dyes I'm talking about. The dyes I use last for months because I leave them in for hours and hours. It says not to on the tub for legal reasons, but the dyes are conditioning for your hair, and honestly, thousands of people do this and there have been no problems whatsoever so far. [ Unless you have an allergy, but you should always rub a little bit of dye on the inside of your elbow before you dye and leave it there for a bit to see if you're allergic. ]

I buy the dyes from special places, and it's based on the dye you use. And I generally only use one site for my information now, but before hand it really was just a literal case of just googling what I wanted to find out, and listening to what made the most sense. xD

Oh cool thanks! And thanks for being so cool with questions! ^^ I'm usually not allergic to any dye so maybe I could use that dye! Where did you find that special dye store? Was it sort of a passed on message or did you find it through researching? :3 And I'll try googling like that, I always got confused with people saying different things. Like one would say to eave it in for no more then x amount of minutes an another would say to leave it in twice as much time as the other. xD

I just found it through researching by chance. But yeah, anything people on that site says is 99% of the time totally right, so you can trust them if you're in doubt. They don't make things up if they don't know, either.

Thats good! I always get iffy when people start making up stuff that they don't know! And for your hair, what inspired it? And is it your favorite colors or just ones that you thought looked pretty cool? :3

Just colours I thought would look pretty cool. I was originally going to do blue on the top layer, purple on the middle layer, and pink on the underneath. But everyone suddenly started doing pink blue and purple hair, despite literally nobody knowing about it so I decided to change my plans so it was different to what was already being done.

I edit it out in photos because I think it looks really odd in them, but I have green streaks in some parts, and it makes it look like peacock hair. It looks quite nice, in my opinion. [Unless it's in photo's obviously. xD]

I think it looks pretty cool, but I would really love to see it with the green streaks! It sounds pretty awesome! :3 (My favorite color actually is green! x3) But peacocks ARE pretty cool and pretty looking. Dose the green come out different in photos are do you just like having it only seen in person?

I think those buttons would be a great idea! I actually think that you would gain a lot more viewers, because not only would you be making super duper cute buttons, but also showing that you stand up for a cause.
