Not sure what you mean by fractal movies...but possibly as a gif file? The webcam shot on the page is a gif with about 15 or so frames of a fractal cycling it's color in Ultra Fractal.

What I am attempting to discuss is the keyframes in your "webcam"- I have Fractal eXtreme which is an amazing program and I have created several "movies" which is just the word I use to refer to them- I suppose they are, in fact, gif files. How did you upload it?

What can I say? I love the stuff you guys produce.
Even though sometimes I suspect you might be sponsored by ultrafractal (where's the math and the theory behind the fractals? They're more than just pretty designs.) Anywho, I just thought I'd share this [link] in case any visitors or devwatchers are interested in some of the maths of chaos.

I wish I _were_ Matt Groening! The dude's a genius. But alas, I am a lowly philosophy honours student/pseudo-intellectual. I reccommend learning a bit of the theory. Even if just to get an appreciation the workings of what a fractal is because math has influenced generations of artists with its paradoxes and geometric twists.

Would anyone mind making a good tutorial for me/everyone.... not like the ones on the Ultra Fractal program... but ones of actually pictures you have done i.e. having one to make The Sign or some other picture cause ive went over most of the tutorials and i still dont get the program. Any and all help would be appreciated

There is a link at the bottom of my journal that uses the TieraZon fractal generator that gives step by step rendering of a fractal and the resulting image. Flipside gave me that link to Amazing Seattle Fractals which also has more links. The ideas presented there can be used in other applications, too. Check it out...
