Yea but no matter how solid some plans are they can always fall threw I should know I've had a lot of plans fall threw for various reason like my plan to attend humbolt *Cringes as she remembers* i was accepted on 1 condition and that was to complete a class at the jc but i couldn't get into the class i needed so the plan fell threw.

The con was AWESOME! Yes it was This weekend I love Otakon; you never stop having fun! We had such a wide variety of cosplays this year too, everything from Watchmen to Soul Eater! We didn't have much of a recurring theme though (like last year was Death Note con xD and the year before was BLEACH con) but we had a recurring catch phrase "Vampire DON'T sparkle" and as Crispin added "those are faeries" xD
The guest panels this year were great, Travis is freaking hilarious, and Crispin and Mary Mcglynn are just so cool! 8)
The AMV contest and Masquerade were as usual hilarious and awesome. We had opera singers, Broadway performances, and of course choreographed dance numbers to pop/youtube phenomena musics!! 8D
All in all, it was a fantastical con!

OMG I kept screaming that at the top of my lungs at AX >< really it's so annoying that in twilight they sparkle...It makes me want to shoot something XP I don't remember if i said anything to him about it when i got his autograph at AX, I thinnk i was just excited that i got my friend the best b-day present ever XP. Lol sounds like you had a great time XP I really wanna go to a con where i have a whole bunch of friends just so i can goof off the entire time and not care (my friends make sure i don't do anything to bad...though they might let me just to get the laugh) But it sounds like and awesome con we didn't have opera singers or anything at AX but we did have some really great skits though i think the announcers where better than most of the skits XP.

lol I actually enjoyed the books, but the movies were monstrous.
Hehe my sister was hyperventilating when she met him, I wonder if he could understand anything she said if she said anything above a whisper xD
Aren't skits great? to watch anyway, I hate being in plays 'cause I have zero stage confidence unless forced. but I do love watching. And yea the host is always the best xD Otakon's five year host is John Hock (or something like that) and he's fantabulous! last year he cosplayed as Link an the year before he was Tamaki - LOL that year was particular fun to watch because he promised the audience (after MUCH Begging and Shouting on their part) a strip tease after the show xD "JUST KIDDING! Come on you guys this is a PG (13) con! family friendly."
Ahh good times.
Also he's a looker Yupp points for being good looking!

lol there was something about the books i just couldn't stand so i didn't read them XP I'm not sure if it was her writing style or just the fact that she used the same describing words over and over again but yea.

Yea i love skits, both to watch and be in ^^ I don't get stage fight but that could be mostly because i was in ballet for 9 years then i did plays when i was in high school ^^ I have lots of theatrical experience. our host's kept bringing up Yaoi for some strange reason then at the end the brought up yuri once XD it was funny.

Hah, if by strange reason you mean that it totally works the crowd then yea xD that's why the hosts pander in the ways of Y.
I actually kinda prefer family friendly jokes as opposed to crude or lewd humor, I mean sometimes it's funny but when I think back on it I wonder "WHY the heck was that funny??" and I just chalk it up to the delivery XD In the end I find it better for the jokes to be ones I can share with my family later on instead of having to avoid the subject.

Also I think your friends woulda been proud 'cause these people didn't let up for a second xD

Well not really when i mean strange reason i mean that out of nowhere they will just say the word. They did that at least 5 times the other times they incorporated the word into the joke they where giving. XP
Hmmm I here yea but I prefer the jokes that can be for both little kids and for adults the ones where the young ones don't understand the full meaning, but the adults sure do ^^. I think i can also blame my slightly perverted mind to several reasons.
Reason 1: I am a horny teen that's still a virgin
reason 2: My friends are bigger perverts than I am
Reason 3: My former coworkers where horrible about things like that XP (really they where they could turn anything into a sexual joke)
