HEY DARKRIDER! I am not dead, I had a rough patch a few years ago, but haven't been on this site in a LONG time. I graduated from community college a year ago with a Ford ASSET degree, still apprenticed under a lead tech, but I'm wrenching on cars both professionally and for funsies. Mentally a lot more sound now I've been living away from my parents for a couple years. Hope things are going as well for you as they are for me.

I assumed (wrongly) that Elphaba would not come to an end at the hands of Dorothy, as she had so much left to do - the Woodsman killing her Household Animals and animals comes into mind firstly, then freeing Nor, killing the wizard, turning Glinda into a pig and so much more.
I'm about to start the second book. I spaced them out by a day because I didn't want to eat all my candy at one time - and I was offended by the character I liked getting killed off in the first book.
Other than that, great read! The flying monkeys with swen on wings...
