Some people are on here for that reason..but a lot of people seem to be using this like a second Facebook account now..it's sad. I also see a lot of nude pictures of terrible quality and no class at all making it to the front page..At least if it was a drawing, I could see it..but it's a webcam of a girl exposing herself to the world. I don't think those people are here to learn or teach, but rather be camera whores. This is supposed to be an art site and when I joined 3 years ago it was that..but now that everyone and their grandmother can get ahold of a digital camera and take massive amounts of pictures, suddenly everyone thinks they are an artist.. And for those artists who put a lot of thought into their work..it's shaming.

Tasha, It reflects the artwork in general DA is mirror of that. But I don’t think its any different then how the art world has been in the last 200 years, only now we are faced with it daily and constantly. In the end the best will raise to the top and of course with a few exceptions crap will sink. Hoards of phone-camera pseudo-artists are running around with a click here and there, no big deal, everyone owns a pencil as well, digital doodling that’s all.
