Lol I noticed all the Phantom.xD I just recently found these videos so I don't know much about the bands. I'm too mindblowned by the music to start researching.

Well, here's essentially how it breaks down. The Blue Devils(The people with the mirrors) are arguably the best corp in the world. Most first places, highest average score, lots of awards, and they ended with a perfect season this past year.
The Cavvies, my personal technical favorites, are the second best. They trade off with the Blue Devils a lot. BUT, if you don't got a dick, you can't be a Cavalier.
The Bluecoats are number 3. Their shows tend to be more out there and more risky. They once got disqualified completely from that season because their show included electronics, and it was before electronic instruments were okay. But they did it anyway.
The Cadets and Carolina Crown fight for four a lot. And they tend to have opposite styles of show. Carolina Crown's style is more of the serious, allegorical stuff. The Cadets are more grounded, and are just plain funny. The only corp that's funnier than the Cadets are the Velvet Knights, whose job is to be funny.

DCI tours around the country in the summer. Tour dates are on the DCI website. But around the middle of July, they are in Texas. Now, they do show the DCI World finals on the big screens, mainly because they are somewhere up north. I want to say that it's Chicago.
