# About me
Even though I'm not particularly good at doing so, I've found out that I think it's a lot of fun to draw simple things, with a simple pencil, on an ordinary-piece-of-simple-damn-paper. I've also started to think it's interesting to see other peoples work, so I made an account at DeviantArt!Since I myself can't really create very complicated stuff I will probably not upload much of my own work.
Though the few times when I do upload something it will probably be something of my interest or something that I feel is important to me. Or simply just a piece of work that I think turned out looking good.
Unfortunately I have no scanner, so I guess pictures with my phone will have to do...

Well, I guess it will have to be symbols common to all scandinavian countries. Of course I immediately think about the 9th to 11th century vikings. The Ulfberht sword, viking round shields, viking long and short axes, and the viking leather/iron/bronze helmet with nose-, cheek-, and sometimes jaw protection are all icons of early scandinavian warfare. Longboats, runes and rune stones could be used too, as well as the dragon.
More recent symbols for the scandinavian regions are the crossed flags: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
Worth mentioning is also that all scandinavian countries are classified as kingdoms/monarchies, but I myself know no specific symbol for this other than maybe the classical crown.
All the current national arms include at least one lion and one royal crown.

The last one is without a doubt Thor's Hammer, called Mjolniir/Mjölner, wielded by the asgardian god of thunder, storms and strength: Thor/Tor. You can see Thor's face and the two goats that pull his cart.
