Thanks for the llama
I knew a llama once. At least I thought I knew him. I mean, how well can anyone really know anyone, much less a llama. With their air of mystery and thinly veiled contempt. It’s hard. But I digress.
His name was Kevin. But for reasons I will never understand, he would only ever answer to Albert. Identity issues aside, things started out okay. The usual introductory sniffing and sneezing went well, despite his allergies, but then things started going downhill during the ritual licking phase of the pleasantries. We pushed through. And had it not been for the spitting, we might have even been able to make it work, but alas, after just 3 seconds of bittersweet brotherhood, we finally decided to part ways. It’s kind of sad, when you think about it. Spitting seems like such an innocent thing to fight over, but he was pretty adamant that I should stop and that was just never going to happen. We might have overcome that issue, but Kevin, like all llamas, was very competitive. First came the stench competitions. Then it was belching contests. And lastly, a painstaking count to see which one was hairier. You can clearly see why our relationship was doomed. The poor fellow was a bit of a sore loser.
So he snuck out, taking with him a failed friendship, an obliviously optimistic dread of the future, and my sixth favorite toothbrush. Now that he is gone, I can honestly say, it's for the best. He was too much of a chick magnet anyway and who needs that poultry drama?
Full disclaimer, as Kevin’s official biographer, a position of which he blackmailed me into (don’t ask), I’ve been instructed to inform you about his ongoing series. The journey starts here with The Kevin Chronicles - Chapter 1, and this gallery contains the rest. You should check it out.
*End of cue card*
And don't worry, they're pretty short.
No pressure though, only if you want.
Sorry about the late reply. Working on the backlog.

Thanks for the fav on DS#43 - Sweet mercy, someone please put it out...
SBCS or Spontaneous Beard Combustion Syndrome is a condition that effects 1 in 5 of the 4 thirds of the 1 in 3 billion bearded men in the world, and one overly hairy woman named Gladys. For too long has this horrific condition gone unnoticed, relegated to the realms of science fiction, like the Trekky mania and Herpes. But this tragedy can go on no longer. We must stand up, raise our bearded chins high and tell the world “We will not stand for this! So what if it’s itchy. Too bad that it scratches our partners. I don’t care that it makes me look like a criminal. Our beards are people too!” So when you next see a bearded stranger walking down the street, tell him, you feel his pain. Make sure he knows you support him in his struggle. Deep down, he will thank you.
You can also do your part in raising awareness of this terrible affliction. Call your congressman, write to the president, send me money, and shout at random pedestrians from your car. Also, you can send me money. With your help, we can beat this thing, by sending me money.
Let us end SBCS together.

Thanks for the fav on Inktober 26: Stretch - Yoga Class of 2018 BCE
I never really understood the big fuss about yoga. Then I tried it. Only once, but once was enough to completely change my life. After just one 2 minute super express, highly condensed teaser class, I was able to perform incredible feats. Like touching my nose to my navel, or my earlobe to my eyeball, or, and this was really impressive, my tonsils to my pancreas. Unfortunately the effects were short lived, and I realize now that this is how “they” get you. Once you experience the awesome powers that yoga bestows, you become hooked, and in order to keep them you must continue the classes. Sounds a lot like an extortion racket if you asked me. But nobody does. All because I now resemble a human pretzel. It’s my own fault, really. I should have read the warning in the class pamphlet. Don’t practice advanced poses unattended. My superhuman yoga powers wore off halfway through the attempt and now I’m stuck.
Thanks for the fav on INKTOBER 24: Dizzy - The walls are melting...
Which just goes to show you that you should never build your home from margarine. I know, I know, I should have sprung for a more expensive construction material, like butter, but with the drought, and the rising cost of milk, butter was just a little outside my price range. I blame my contractor. He told me that Canola was just as structurally sound as butter but contained half the fat, and since I’m not a qualified organic engineer, I believed him. And, there goes the bathroom. Dammit. At this rate, I’m not going to have enough of a house to spread on my toast in the morning.
