# About me
Hello, and welcome to my profile.I am Galenarie.
I am 20.
My dream is to become an illustrator/concept artist.
I am currently working on a long story, based on folklore, mythology and other such sweet subjects, and I'm enjoying every single second of it.
I love drawing, and rarely does one day end without me drawing something.
I also love travelling. I have been all across Europe, with the sole exception of Scandinavia, Russia and a few other countries. I didn't get to see much outside Europe, just Egypt and Turkey. Wish me luck in managing to get to see more of the world. ^_^
Out of all the places that I have seen, I stand by a few favourites: London, England and Florence, Italy. I have recently visited the latter, and have been drawing all across the city all the statues that I could possibly draw. Also, my love for the Renaissance has thus been ignited.
And not just artists like Michelangelo or Da Vinci, but also writers, such as Machiavelli.
I have been drawing with the passion of becoming great since the age of 2. I am best with a pencil, but am currently trying to perfect my skills with ink and my new drawing tablet. I also have a hobby of experimenting with makeup. Despite the ease with which I can use the tablet, my preferred tools remain the pencil, ink and fineliners. I enjoy using my vintage style quills, and all drawing and illustrations made in ink that I have here are drawn with such a quill.
I enjoy reading, but I am usually very picky with literature. Lately, most of my reads have been somehow concerned with mythology or folklore.
I also take great joy in learning, analyzing and contemplating history. It usually helps enrich my work and ability to work with symbolism and vintage fashion and costumes.
I enjoy video games, but have little time for them, as I spend most of my spare time drawing or researching folklore for my story.

Sadly, I have not been to Serbia per se, but I've been really close to the SerbianΒ border in Romania. XD Hopefully I'll get to actually visit the country, someday.
