You have to share that journal in many art/animation kind of groups to be noticed as well. You make a title as: Artist Needed, I offer payment (blah blah, details in the description) and you offer your conditions. For example, some artists draw characters for points, some draw them for payment, and they give you PayPal to pay them. However, I don't have experience with either, or animation, so I wouldn't know :/ You can also find an animator in group and ask them through notes are they available to animate something for you.Β
I have only asked for one commission, and it was from my friend. She was doing commissions/character-head portrait drawings for points, so I asked her to draw an OC for me (it was about 80 points, or one dollar back then), and that's my only experience regarding this matter. That friend is featured in my DA ID, so you can contact her through notes.
(Also, if you want to make OCs, you can always use dollmakers, they are free and as long as you credit the maker of the game, you can post on DA without problems
I have also had some watchers draw my characters, but that was of their own will and they offered to do so, and I was lucky that way. Not many writers are that privileged, unfortunately :/ You need to be in many groups and make yourself "visible" sort to say (to Β artists), by sharing that journal/deviation and asking for people who would animate your project.
I hope this wasn't too much information at once, and I hope you find someone to do the job for you soon.
