And since I have to think out loud so much (and you specified two possibilities as a 'given')...
1. Eichia would spend the nights of the season and next in confinement.

3. She would be permanently barred from entering the nursery. She'd see it as the most brutal but it's really the leniency. I really don't see Eichia ever being able to look at Felix again and not seeing the frozen, all but dead bundle in her arms.Β

Well I'm glad. Eichia's always fun to work with. I think she makes an excellent foil to Charrylle.
She brings so much to the Genma cast and I'm glad you let me use her.
lol those are all really good punishments. I'm sure that it completely eludes Eichia that The Duchess isn't just punishing her for Felix' sake. She's not pleased that she put herself in such a dangerous position. Felix is precious to her but she's been Eichia's guardian for years and losing her like that would hurt as much.
She'd get some extra stern looks for a long while but Cyril will eventually let her know that her time is served... eventually but before then she's gonna know she did wrong.
Oh and I'm just gonna leave this here.

An understandable oversight. Cyril has taken many, many children under her protection as wards but Felix alone was named as her adoptive son. I imagine Eichia would consider him by default a bit higher on the totem pole and being a teeny bit jealous, but she would never let it calcify into overt resentment. She finally has someone in her life who she knows does not pass judgement on her.Β

And such a fitting challenge for Eichia. The monster that she thinks she is. The monster that is doomed to only hurt those she loves. The line: 'sometimes I think he is the only one who does not look upon me and sees a broken mess.'Β That really hit me where I live. It surpasses the 'I guess I asked for that' as the most hard hitting and memorable line in the story. I deeply relate to it on a personal level.Β

Yeah I thought it would be kind of a bitter sweet thing with her and Felix. Yeah she sees him as a little brother and loves him very much but he's really in no position to reject her in any way. He's the safest person for her to invest her affection into. I also wanted to play up a bit that her life of relative comfort has been longer than the one she knew before it but she's so affected by being on her own at first that she's still heavily affected by it when interacting with the others. I think we can all relate to it on some level. Glad to know I'm not boring you to tears yet. I've got the final set of notes figured out. Saturday I can wake up and maybe put the final ribbon on this thing.
