Actually they're pretty normal. I mean, they all know computer crap and are code wizards, but other than that they're like tasteful nerds.

What I do is purge the samples.

To the immediate left of the solo and mute buttons on a track in Kontakt there is the word "purge" with a downwards facing triangle that opens a drop down menu when you click on it. From there you can purge or reload all of the samples for that track. It works for me.
