Im doing terrible if im being honest here, least emotionally.
Im suspecting it may be a year but i dont think things will 100% be the same for a long while now.

I will probably stay until the 20th of may but be abscent from the 30th of this month until the 4th of next month for that silent protest thing, not that i expect it to do anything or go anywhere.
I just cant adjust to that layout, it gives me massive migrains trying to use it and im normally really good at self learning a layout but that thing has my head all kinds of tumbled.

Well, that may be truth...

Maybe I will do something too, that new layout was very annoying, especially when editing stories or sending out stuff. Also I greatly disliked that it had become a hassle to see the deviations everyone was doing, because that was...fun and interesting to see, but with Eclipse...one does feel very allienated from everyone.

No no, your fine. Just mostly my mental health having really bad highs and lows constantly, its bringing up some ugliness i dont like to deal with and in combination of the stress with the pandemic its just bringing its own problems to it.

I dont know if i'll return after its forced. Maybe i'll check in every once in a while but i dont see myself staying with how its current state is, gives me a migrain and is too ugly to stand among other issues with it. I probably sound like some old complainer to people but i cant stand how it looks much less how it operates. Feels like some pretentious thing now and im not about that. Im all for the rebellious side of art, which is how its supposed to feel to me, you let your emotions out, you pour your stand, you spread your creativity.

Sadly the company that bought DA a while back, wix, is well versed in killing everything it touches so i dont have high hopes DA will live long after the mass Exodus the sites about to endure. I know i should be running around collecting all my art from my previous account but i cant be bothered too. It would take too long. I already put it all in storage anyways. Some people are trying to build a new art site but who knows when that will happen or how long itll take.

Well, you don't really seem like an old complainer to me, especially for the numerous souls who also disagree with this unwanted imposition.  I also find the new style too...alienating. And very mute. So, if you were to migrate into another page, where would you go? I am thinking about twitter, tumblr, or...artrise. No place would accept the weird stuff I make  like this site did, but...as you have said, correctly, it's pretentious, and I don't really feel comfortable  in a place changed in such unsavory way.

Wix seems like a greedy, heartless company, now that you mention it.

...Gee, I think I might start collecting my stuff too, bad winds are blowing for the site either way...

Im probably going to stay on twitter for the most part until somewhere new crops up. Im watching artrises discord as like toyhouse you need an invite in but its a lot more exclusive.
I may also sortve just watch FA and other places but i dont plan to post on insta or use FA anymore, i mostly just check mail there. TH is pretty much grown to be my second DA but its mostly character storage site.

I agree although i dont have high hopes of DA recovering, i know some people said it wont die cause theres too many users but it certainly wont be the same.

A few people have started getting money back they spent on core and they pretty much shot themselves in the foot doing what they did to it, now nobody has a reason to buy it so their loosing more money.

Hmm, well hes a swamp dwelling creature, eats faces and what not of humans or really anything he can hunt, maybe like a swampy mossy feel to it? Like New Orleans swamp style is fine, if you want to toss anything else in there its alright. He kinda just lives in the swamp and does his own thing, unlike stick figure he doesnt really guard anything just a weird cryptid with a weird sack thing covering his face and has this really weird sack pet too:  toyhou.se/4461183.hopper
