Sorry, Debbie! Wrong Fav! I meant to say: ThanXXX SOOO much for the “Emperor Koko and his attendants in snow Sketch” Fav! I really appreciate it! As I say in my notes, this is inspired by the print of the same name by Kuniyoshi! It was made in c. 1842 and based on the quote by Emperor Koko:

“ For my lord’s sake/ I went out into the fields of spring/to pick young greens/ while on my robe/the snow kept falling and falling.”

He wears high wooden boots, but his attendants appear to be bare footed! Brrrr! Keep on Creating! Cheers!
