I have a YouTube channel called Mermaid Haile and a Quotev account. I love to dabble in all styles of art and style, especially creative design. Hum! Well, I'm glad you liked the story. Fantasy is my preferred genre, though I've dabbled in mystery (left unfinished, I'm afraid) and even tested horror; to which I'm sad to say, I've not accomplished much.
If I might offer a word of advice, make sure to keep careful track of your characters, what they've accomplished, and what their reactions are likely to be in any given scenario. It does no good to have a character who is normally a lion to suddenly become a shrinking violet in a situation unless you have a specific, alluded to reason (A massive man who is not afraid of a fight that faints at the sight of blood might have a strange phobia from childhood that caused that in him, for example). In So How Does Your Costume FitΒ The original story, I had great difficulty in keeping track of my support characters and what they were intending, and their last names, which can still be seen on the posted work. Keeping track of this is just as important as plot, even for secondary characters; and I would say, especially for secondary characters more than main characters. The mains you work with every day, as it were, while the secondaries may appear for a scene or two, then leave for vast quantities of the book only to reappear later to aid the main character.Β
