Your work is amazing! I love the different First Nations styles. (Looking at both of your galleries makes me wish I knew more about my own background, I'm half Cree.) I also love the other styles you don't and can't wait to see more for the Norse mythology!

There is not such thing as "Totem designs". The are either painted in North West Pacific Style, or Anishinabe style. And I only paint things that are appropriate for the work I am working on. I don't just paint whatever for no reason.

Hello, i'm just starting to use pyrography as my mean hobby besides drawing.

The only tip I can give you is this: Practice. Theoretical concepts don't work for art as much as practicle application. Just find pieces of wood you can burn for practice and then toss into the compost until you get the hang of things. That's how most of us do it... and not only in pyrography, but in everything art related!
