Oh no, my computer was fixed a while back - I'm just sort of in the wrong part of the country at present and nowhere near it.

Don't do that, you'll lose brain cells. Do you have ideas? Because if you have any at all, you could try just forcing yourself to start. Sometimes even if I don't feel like writing that works for me.

That's a good point, but only by assuming that I have brain cells to lose in the first place haha. I have ideas, it's just getting them onto paper that's the problem. I have been retouching an old story I found a while ago, hopefully that'll get things flowing again. Thanks for the advice though

Originally I was going to write mine on anti-heroes, drawing reference from Satan in John Milton's Paradise Lost...but then I back-tracked, and decided that I was better at writing on feminism and gender theory. So I actually opted to write on Twilight (I know, I'm such an intellectual! Ha) - how traditional gender roles and sexism is making a reappearance in contemporary YA fiction. Found some rather disturbing symbolism relating to children in Twilight, and did think about including that, but as I ended up running out of time I couldn't fit it in. Bah. I'm so cool

You wrote on Twilight for a degree at university! That's brilliant! xD I'm surprised you managed to mention the very word without your professor tearing their hair out on the spot - though that having said, of course, you're hardly praising the book for its literary merits.

If I'd written it on Twilight's literary merits, I wouldn't have been able to hit the word count...

I do need to learn how do use all these clouds and lighting effects and confusing technobabble things properly... Currently I tend to work without using any, but it doesn't look like that's going to keep working if I want to develop the quality of my pictures at all. xD
