# About me
I was born in Boynton Beach, Florida, but spent the majority of my life in a small town called Lowndesboro, in central Alabama. It is a quiet little town that, although stifling at times, truly allowed me to strive to be more and to be different. It was this town that allowed me to see past everyone's exterior views and look at who I am within. I will say, not everyone believed in who I am, but they did believe in my talent. I spent my time in that town working constantly to build my abilities. It is something I still work on nearly everyday.I attended school at Lowndes Academy and graduated in 2009. Only two weeks after graduation, I married the love of my life and moved to Hope Hull, AL. Around nine months later, we moved back to the little town I grew up in. I began to work at Lowndes Academy as a daycare worker and before long I was holding that job, as well as librarian and art teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching the children how to bring their own artistic abilities to life.
In late June 2011, my husband received a promotion and we moved just over 3 hours away to a city called Huntsville. Although I hated to leave my teaching position, it is here that I have finally found the acceptance and artistic means to make something of my work.
