and after reading it i should say youre absolutely right !
but i usually dont thank for favs, only for watch
its kinda a way to show that i care if somebody is interested in my art
maybe its a bad way and it doesnt look like it should

Sometimes quite a few people miss those big fabulous beautiful luscious sparkly red letters. It's like when you're trying to find or check for something in your fridge that is like right in front of you and yet you either can't seem to find said item or it takes you a little while before you realize it's right there.
And I totally get your feels on that-- I mean, I care if people are interested in my art too. I guess it was because of the whole process of thanking and getting thanked becoming so frequent, it really began feeling robotic and almost insincere from the constant habit. That's not to say my feelings or anyone else's aren't at all sincere, though.
In a way, I have a similar issue when other artists bring up the whole people faving their stuff but not sparing a comment. And some of them get real annoying and bitchy about it... I've just sorta been ambivalent about the whole ordeal because I wish people would comment more on my stuff, but at the same time, and at the rate I go faving everyday, I'm seriously guilty of fav-and-runs. I always tell people that I have an issue with how I comment because I feel that if I'm going to say something, it's got to really come from within and actually have substance. Not just "cool" or "cute" or "impressive, good job" or "kawaii!" (to me, commenting stuff like that seems about as meaningful as hitting 'like' on someone's Facebook status update or something stupid like that). The problem is that sometimes it's hard for me to find the words that describe my feelings on someone's artwork, so I tend to not say anything instead of giving a half-assed input... Though, I understand that some artists like a few words better than none at all. That's just always kinda been how I feel...

I'm happy with our "small" conversation too... and my semi rant. u vu~

phew ! translating your answer into russian was a big work for me ! (but i dont say that was in vain, oh and im sorry for not replying for some time)
i usually dont think about things like that, but reading your opinion about faving and thanking for it was interesting for me !
i finally see the situation in a new way (or i can say that i just SEE it)
before i didnt pay my attention to it , and now i remember and understand that in my life ive met people you;re talking about
