I wanted to stop by and thank you for the watch- because it really means a lot! (And no one has commented on your page since April Fools??? what's the deal with that, brah?)
Your journal, though a month dated, is very /very/ true. I really value the every moment someone starts a comment conversation with me- though more often than not, /I'm/ the one doing the initiating...which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
It usually starts when I comment on a deviantart page to thank for watches/faves/etc. 7 (well, maybe 6) times out of 10 the deviant starts a conversation back, usually because they were too shy or intimidated to comment on the work itself.
Late night ramble- dunno- your journal sorta sparked something. I'm glad someone else likes conversation~

Ayyyyyyyye!!! I had a couple of weeks where no matter who had come and visited, liked or interacted with my page, I would then go to their page, and try to say something positive or reinforcing about their work, sometimes even a small critique This had huge success - as it would get people working at their art even more.
But, unfortunately that was around when I got hit with the NDA fro a project that took up most of my time. I felt like I could paint something for me, and all the art I had been doing had been for something I couldn't show a soul. I'm off that project, and on to a few others I really enjoy! Plus no NDA to be heard of.
So, I guess I'm going to try to pick up old habits. Speak to people, get involved again. Wesley is a good motivator and is great (friendly)competition, but I kinda want to expand that. To a full community of dedicated artists like yourself! Whatya say? Doodle off? ;D
