I'm trying to build up my own collection (as opposed to raiding my mom's) for when I go off to school in the fall. It's irritating how hard it is to find the graphic novels!

I was super lucky and my dad gave me all of his original magazine sized copies! What a glorious day that was! haha. I've been trying to fill out my collection more. I saw the prices of the graphic novels. Crazy expensive! I'd rather buy them all in comic form anyway. ^_^

I made my mom promise me that someday she'd give me her collection (that was before my sister decided she didn't care much about it anymore; crazy sister!). I'd love to get the Reader's Collection issues of Siege at Blue Mountain and Kings of the Broken Wheel. I think Kings is my absolute favorite arc. Well, that and the Wolfrider! (Bearclaw; awesome, awesome awesomeness). I've been looking around on eBay and Amazon.com. Their prices are alright.

Cool! I think my favorite so far is Hidden Years. Mostly cus there is a lot of Tyleet in it. Lol. But I like the original stories a lot (Elfquest, Siege and Kings). And I recently read Fire Eye, which I liked very much. I just love Elfquest. Lol.

Oh, I hated Fire Eye! The art style just threw me off so bad I could never get into the story. (It probably didn't help that I couldn't get started at the beginning of that story.)
I think my first ever actual collection was the hardback of Hidden Years #1-5. I love that book. Did you ever read the novelizations?

I didn't care for New Blood at all. Because the art was so different. I like the story and art of Fire Eye. You learn a lot about Ember in that one. ^_^

I liked some of the New Blood stories alright, like the Bedtime Stories. Once it got to the war with the Sun Folk and the Go-Backs, though, I really hated it.
I absolutely love the Hidden Years after Ember goes off with her half of the tribe. I don't have a whole lot of those, but I just love Ember. Suntop as of 'Discovery' though... eh.
Oh yeah, there's loads! There's Journey to Sorrow's End, The Quest Begins, and Captives of Blue Mountain. They never wrote the end of the Quest, though. And! There's the Blood of Ten Chiefs anthologies. They did an audiobook recording of Journey to Sorrow's End, too.
(I know! I can't nerd with my mom. She hasn't read them in so long, she's forgotten loads. Yay, nerding!)

I really had a hard time getting through Jink and Rebels... And I'm not a fan of Kahvi... so that was a tough one for me too. Most of the stories about the wolfriders I really like a lot!
I like the new blood stories that were Loony Toons spoofs. But that's mostly because I love loony toons and I got all the 90's references. haha.

Ugh, the FutureQuest. As far as I care, those never happened. That story was never published. Just....ugh. I liked Kahvi well enough until the whole war on Sorrow's End. All over a little shard of the Palace. Stupid. Good old Wolfriders, though, they never get old.

I think I read half of one issue of Jink! and was just like "This... this is bad." I really can't believe they got published. I've never actually read Kahvi's series, because I can't get my hands on the first one. I'd like to, though, since I like her.

You know you can read every Elfquest series for free on elfquest.com? That's where I have been reading them.
I wouldn't have read those ones if I wasn't in a contest with a couple friends to be the first to finish reading ALL of Elfquest. Haha. So I suffered through New Blood for the contest. Lol.
