Once again, thank you very much for your careful critique and favorite on my gargoyles piece. Yours are the comments that artists use as fuel to make them want to become better at what they do.
Again, thank you so much!

Well enough, though I do have a bit of a cold. It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Laura, or Ms. Skillyaslig as it were. How are you? And, if you don't mind my asking, what brought you to my page?

Ah, poor you. Still, just drink plenty of water to keep the white blood cells happy
Its groovy to met you as well Well, since I am on dA abit, I sometimes use the Random Deviant button when the 'net is going rather good, and lo and behold its one of those days, so I said hi After all, random acts of saying hello help you to met new people

This is very true. Meeting new people is important, as is expanding your horizons. I must admit I seldom meet new people on deviantArt without first leaving a comment on their work, or adding it to my favorites. It is nice to be approached by someone for a change, instead of me doing the approaching. Tell me, is it late in New Zealand? Are you up working on another piece?

Indeed. People seem to more of an attention-seeking lot around here. Or trolls, if you are unlucky enough to draw one out from its bridge. Rather hard to kick it back under...
Anyways, it is almost midnight here But other wise all fine and dandy.
Well, I am working on two pieces at the moment, The Gate Keepers, which will take me a while to colour in all those stupid little scales on the dragon fellow, and a new group picture with the gang meeting Maddox Though I hate doing fur-textures as well, but it looks better in the end

I live in Chicago, believe me, I know all about trolls. They elected a few to public office and another to the seat of police director. They don't hide under bridges if they don't have to; unless you count Hyde Park as a dank, wet place from which no good can come.
Texturing can be a pain, or so I hear. I am a writer by trade, so the visual arts are somewhat beyond my talents, though I do have an appreciation for creative aesthetics. Dragon's interest me greatly; I would love to see yours when it is done. But it is nearly 5 AM here in the windy city, and I must leave for my first class of the semester soon. Might we be able to talk later, when we have a little more free time to converse? You seem articulate and well-read; I would enjoy talking to you again.

Ooo, Trolls in you face all the time, eh? What you need are some Big Billy Goats....Gruff.
It can be! Especially if the computer throws a fit and freezes when you haven't saved- Makes you want to scream and throw things somedays
But I like dragons-There is such a large variety, and when you have Dragonology books, mythology and Books about Demons, the shapes and sizes seem endless
Well, you have fun! I should be buggering off to bed....Yush, yush, we shall talk later! At least you can hold a conversation. That seems to be beyond quite a few people around here

Artists really don't like to talk very much...unless it's about other artists, in which case it's getting them to shut up that's the real challenge. Calumny seems to be the favorite sin of the artistic world: it is the bread and butter of people like my mother and aunt, who are always craving a juicy dish on somebody that they firmly dislike. It seems like a waste of energy and spite to me, but what do I know?
I wish you luck with your work (though I doubt you'll need it) and that you get some rest. I look forward to talking to you again, Ms. Laura Skillyaslig. Take care.

...It really depends on the artist! After all, Opera and such is a verbal and acting art
Anyways, I'll stop nattering, so you can go to your first semester, or what you guys call it over there So indeed, type to you tomorrow.
Take care as well!

Relax, you don't natter, and if you do, it isn't in the least bit annoying. I like talkative women. Anyway, thank you, and sleep well.
Goodnight.
