ooo welcome of course, also i love so many of them, i love my species avicularia avicularia, but i also love pumpkin patch spiders, uhHH i´ve only owned a pink toed tarantula so far, but i love blue baboons and birdeaters, cobalt blues are really pretty but super aggressive. idk theres so many that are really cool.

Pumkin patch looks cool, never seen that before lol. I always wanted a brazillian black but heard they take forever to grow. And yeah idk why all the colorful ones are aggressive, maybe cuz they're arboreal? I wish there are hairless chunky tarantulas that look like ravine trapdoor spiders aaaa

ah, my species is arboreal, but she´s completely docile, it depends on whether they are a new world tarantula or an old world one, old world tarantula´s are usually the aggressive ones. and i think there are a lot of species that have less hair, but im not too knowledgeable on them much. not all colorful ones are aggressive either, there´s this one beautiful blue species that´s completely docile but i completely forget what it´s called. OOOhh i also love skeleton knee tarantulas, i want one of those so bad.

Oyea I remember the old world new world stuff. I figured it was an arboreal thing since tree boas tend to strike more. How often do you have to feed yours? I wanna start collecting tarantulas and centipedes, but I hate buying crickets cuz they die so damn fast, but I would have to since I moved to a cold area. Use to just harvest grasshoppers at my backyard as feeders. And yeah anything blue is fuckin cool, look up the blue centipede.

ohh i feed mine once a week, but tarantula's can probably survive about a month without food, i typically feed her once a week though just cause i dont want her to be malnourished or something, also crickets will die rather quickly anyway, so i typically buy around 15 at a time, and they last me a month or so. and holy shit a blue centipede sounds awesome, I would love to get like a giant african centipede, they are rather spOOKy tho. but yeah i follow the r/tarantulas subreddit and there's a lot of helpful shit on there. but yeah i live in a cold climate so i have to buy crickets too.

Last time I bought crickets for my crested gecko, they died out within a week lol so it's probably best to start some colony or something. And yeah, fookin giant centipedes are pretty spoopy, but I saw some guy free handling those on YT and I am in love. You just gotta make em feel like you're just a branch or somethin' kekeke

lol ye i feel u, sometimes my crickets will all just mysteriously die, i know that when they die they release some chemical that can also make the other ones die if they inhale it, so i usually heck every other day to see if there's a dead one or two i can take out, i typically feed mine fish food and soak a makeup sponge with water for them to sip from. but hell ye a centipede sounds sweet as shit
