Elemental begins pawing more at the sand, circling a few times, before lowering himself on his side, and rolling in the water. He groans at the good feeling of stretching, and of the  soft, warm water.

Axel flinched a bit in surprise. Watching as Elemental rears up. He stands.
"I... I'll bring them here.." He seems a little more certain now, all though his positive attitude was still amiss. "I don't know how long we will have.. But at least they can be happy for a while here..."

Elemental kicks Axel square in the soul, doing something bittersweet.
Elemental reminds Axel of the harder times--all the times Axel had nearly given up, and had regretted that thought afterwards. He reminds Axel of all the times he'd been hopeless--with Malladay and seeing Crimson kiss Zane, with all of Hell, when no one, not even his mate, had wanted anything to do with him.

Elemental reminds Axel of all the grief, all the pain, all the hate, anger, and rain... all of which make the feeling 'acceptance' brightest. Because after each and everyone of those events, whether it was Axel or someone else, hope was never truly given up.

Everything has feelings, even if it's just through programming. We are not robots, Axel. We are not robots. 

Elemental heals Axel to help the pain ease into nothing.

Elemental: [Proudly] Remembers me well, Axel. 
My time has come. But I need you to remember me for what I am, not what you believe. I am beautiful, I am strong. I am happy with who I am.

Don't allow your fear and sadness to control you. It must be YOU who controls IT.

And to that, Elemental changes to into mist, both warm and cool at the same time. It wraps around Axel once, twice, before fully fading.
Elemental had not been killed. In fact, he's died of old age instead. Even a god-like creature such as an element has to perish eventually.

The trees and water and grass is calm. A breeze is softly making the meadow wave and bend, a calming noise following its movements. The leaves rustle, the waterfalls continuing to mist over the nearest surfaces.
A light is suddenly noticeable in where it comes from. There is a hole in Hell, miles and miles above where Axel is sitting.

Axel stood there for a moment, unable to do anything as he processed what happened. Elemental has died. Another close friend just gone. He closes his eyes tightly forcing himself to keep it together. And not just fall apart. After several minutes of him trying to calm himself, he finally moves. It's never been so hard for him to calm anything his entire life let alone himself, as it was right now. He tries to focus on What Elemental told him. He could get through this. He would be okay. He's been through a lot of pain and suffering. He would be okay.
After a few more minutes of convincing himself, he teleports home.

The sound of a loud CHING! On metal vibrates throughout the room. The creature holding it is currently unidentifiable, as he/she is completely cloaked in black.
They dive for Axel again, angrier this time knowing that Axel somehow got 'lucky.'

Black and Crimson and the children are not sense anywhere nearby.

Axel frowns deeply. He dodged the attack again as the creature lunged at him. His magic wraps around the machete, yanking it out of there grip. He surrounds them in his projection magic, restraining them.
"What are you doing in my home?..." He growls quietly.

Axel looks at him, still very unamused.
"Bax. Grow up. Normally, I would pay your nonsense and childishness no mind. But I've had a bad day. I am tired. Irritated. And quite frankly not In the mood to deal with your bullsht. Crimson is and has been my mate for thousands of years. That will not change. Even if you kill me he is still my mate. My love. And I would like to spend what time I have left with him and our family happily. So stop acting like a child who had a toy taken from him." He was blunt and a bit harsh. Very much not like him. But he looks very tired like he had the weight of the universe on him.

Crimson, in full wolf form, stalks out from the shadows. He snarls quietly, before pouncing on Bax.
His jaws close around Bax's neck, clearly as tired and straightforward as Axel is.

Crimson Wolf: The only mate I have now, is Axel. He is my ONLY soulmate.

An audible crack can be heard, before Bax turns to dust.
Crimson sits up, ears flicking unashamedly.

Crimson Wolf: Sorry for the aggression, love... but I ain't taking ANY risks these next few weeks.
