The waves-
*make a new layer
take a small, solid round brush.
the default brush that is circle 11, 13x13 is good.
-draw a couple of lines around the focal, long to medium length.
i would try making them come out of the focal point, or around it. kind of flowy.
depending on your picture, u want the lines to look the best way to match, try having a couple of curves in the lines.

go to filters==>distorts==>waves.
when that comes up-
-the MODE should be set to smear-
-my "amplitude" was somewhere between 20.0 and 40.0
-you play with the phase setting until it is the way you like it.
-play with the wave length setting until you like it. better to make it between 10 and 25 or so. not so it looks like your original lines.
---you may need to make a few attempts, but the side i used on the end result was 2 slightly curvy lines, and i just erased part of them because i didnt want the lines to be the whole width of the signature.

I like your Zune backgrounds, I had to get me a couple. I've always made my backgrounds 240x320 too, but i found out today (like 20 mins ago) that 360x471 works also. That should allow for a little bit more detail. Just sharing a little knowledge from one Zune background creator to another. 80gig forever.
