# About me
I am a Victorian transplant and a history fanatic. My heart is British and I am what people would call an Anglophile. I grew up in America but Britain is where I found myself.I am a board member of Anarchy Girls Cospace and a Member of Anarchy Girls and the Chaos Squad. We are cosplayers who love to help others learn and share what we learn with others.
I am the founder of a Cosplay troupe that puts on Tea parties at events as well as immersion panels, historical panels and panels on the more darker facts about the Victorian Era.
Wastach Shinigami Association
I love to cosplay I love to tutor and I wanted a place I could keep track of my plans, my cosplays and my progress. This is more a place to keep it all in one place. If you like it, let me know, If not that is ok too!

Welcome to my watchers ! Here's a quick look at what I'm doing !
Welcome New Watcher
Welcome new watcher! I'm glad you want to see more of my work! I've got a lot of stuff going on, so I thought I'd give you a quick run down of what you can expect to see from me
Mountain Divide
My main project right now is Mountain Divide! It is a webcomic about what happens after a failed rebellion both to the rebel leader and a conquering general. The two former enemies must work together to achieve peace and prosperity for their mutual home. If you like strong women and rivals forced to work together for the greater good, you'll love this story!
I'm currently posting one page a week here on DA and here on the main website. I recommend reading on the main site if you're interested. The latest page is available there and

You are welcome. I like all types of history. I am really into Egyptology, anything that has to do with religion and its impact on society. I like how pandemics also effect religion and community. If it is about Gods, Catholicism, Disease, or death, I usually have studied it ha-ha.
I love superstition, folklore and anything about the Occult historically as well.

Cool. Does that include obscure mythologies and folklore? I'm curious, how does a pandemic effect religion?
I'm not huge into history but I got into Montreal's history abit (my hometown). A good book about the city is called City Unique, it's about Montreal during the 40's and 50's and goes through aspects of the city in those years including crime.
Do you have any Favorite folkloric things?

Yeah. That is what I like. I like the religious studies, of all cultures and how they are the same stories retold sometimes.
Well one of the easiest examples is The Black Death. It killed nearly 1/3 of the European population, this actually created a new class and destroyed the feudal system as it was known. It also created a rather interesting situation with the church. Death rates were so high that if a priest was not present anyone was able to give last rights including a woman. Fear was so rampant to be around others that society was breaking down. People had stopped going to church. ( it was the one thing all people had in common, from the nobles to the poor) It created serious issues. So the church had to get people back into the pews. In 1444 was the first mention of Hell and what we now know as the Devil. yes there was Lucifer, but he was an adversary. He wasn't really the creature we know now and Hell with its fire and Brimstone wasn't really a thing until then. By creating a fear of a horrific afterlife, people came back to the church and the society started to reform. Back then where your own kingdom was your world and people needed to depend on each other to the degree that was necessary for them, it was not practical for them to be xenophobic of their neighbor and the church provided a safe haven where all were the same in the eyes of God.
It is that sort of thing I really like to learn and share haha.
Oh I love all the little crime stories too. I will have to look into it!

That's very interesting info about the devil and the Black Plague.
Other than that 20 year period, there are a few Canadian pulp reprints that may hold your interest: www.vehiculepress.com/1-ricoch…
The detective ones are some of the best I find. Waste No Tears is a spiral down story, The Long November was the weakest for me (to much tell and no show), The Mayor of Cote st.Paul is a fluff read to me and The Keys to My Prison is also a decent read and does well with the ambiguity of the situation.

Yeah, that is the type of stuff I like. I really like the odd stuff that affects us still and how things change like that.
Oh thank you! I will have to look into these. I appreciate it!
