I'm an amateur traditional artist, I suppose, but I'm really more of a hobbyist and dabbler. I often feel a compulsion to draw or paint, and most of my work ends up being pencil drawings in a notebook. I haven't drawn seriously since I took art classes in middle school, so this is my journey into exploring my skills (or lack thereof). I hope to keep it up. Eventually I'd like to figure out digital art, but that's another story altogether, and I'd like to get a handle on things artistically first, as I have a severe lack of actual artistic study and training. I'm learning as I go.
Just as a note, these images are scanned from a notebook (with a binding, which is a complete annoyance) or taken with a camera, so the quality of the display is questionable. I feel the images look much different in person, but maybe that's just me.
Perhaps someday I'll feel the need to invest in better-quality paper and pencils, but right now I'm just drawing.
Oh, yes, and as a fair warning...Almost all of what I do here is going to be Dragon Age-related fan art of some sort. If you like video games and haven't tried that series, get on it!
