Same staying busy with work, investing, courses and studying to be a personal trainer.
I just released a new character design app for Android yesterday:
I don't use GIMP much anymore tho. I moved to Affinity Photo cause GIMP doesn't support non-destructive editing. Also got banned from GimpChat several months ago (apparently saying my art is also available as a print here on DA is not tolerated lol).
Still not really a painter but painted DA's 18th birthday photo. Still not sure about it tho lol

Nice with an Android app!
I don't use GIMP much myself either these days - Krita and MyPaint works better for painting IMO. On the road I also do some painting using my Android tablet (which as a pressure-sensitive wacom pen) using an app called Infinite Painter. I haven't tried the latest version of GIMP yet though, should get on that.

I use infinite painter as well, along with Infinite design, sketchbook and illustrator draw (just depends on the work). I still gotta invest in a pressure sensitive tablet and stylus. Been aiming towards the iPad pro with the apple stylus but the surface pro is also a thought. Idk what I want yet lol

I use the Samsung Galaxy S3 Tablet, which has a battery-less Wacom pen and surface. By far the best mobile sketch device on the market today IMO (of course it doesn't help that Samsung is not at all advertising it as such, strangely enough).

Yes, never had any issues with the palm being ignored while using the pen + fingers to zoom/rotate etc.

I'm contemplating on getting that or the iPad Mini (A12 Chip) with the Apple Pencil. I use Infinite Design and Infinite Painter a lot but I also wanna use Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer on my tablet lol #TheStruggleIsReal

Cool gallery! It is so cool to see an artist using open-source tools!
For my own graphics projects I'm using 100% open-source tools, like Gimp, MyPaint, Inkscape and Blender. I'm starting learning Krita, and it seems to have a very powerfull paint-engine.
Again great to meet people who knows there's a lot more out there than Adobe and Autodesk

Thankyou! I've tried out other software and use them occationally (autodesk sketchbook is useful when only on the phone) but I do prefer to use open-source software for the heavy lifting.
