heh, i can prob hijack my parents camera sometime again, but i'm to lazy atm, and fighting with this white one... blasted thing is semi transparent apparently, so the 2 types of masking i was using inside of it.... BAD idea... it actually shows through to the outside as 2 different shades too.... fuck... so its one type, or funny marks... god damnit.

heh mines the wrong color as i chose the base from looking at referance images, so its a light gun metal instead of steal
got a second one here to become the columbia though and get its proper aluminum... i kinda hope they reissue the thing like they did with the Refit (got 3 of them on the way!! woot!)
just figured i'd plug to get some sort of feedback on if the buggers are any good or not
building and painting them is easy though, you should try lighting the blasted models.. on a tight budget no less! heh.
this refits gonna have some serious spot lighting to it too.. can't wait to see how i get this done..

but tis a fun gun... when pointed at a target or other inanimate object anywho. (people get pissed off if you point it at people or critters... though i am considering taking it along some farm fields and critter hunting... with permission of the farmer of course damned nasty chuck problem out here, and the possums ain't no party either)
i dunno, i just can't stand that design, its to alien to be a pre-tos (gotta figure, in ToS there was very little alien contact to the feds still, so Pre-ToS is kinda hard to deal with having other aliens... not to mention its story of a romulan battle... bah) style, unless it were like the federation was from another world in that movie.
cause frankly its just looks like someone took a good design and threw it into a microwave and watched it warp, then said "there it is! thats the ship we'll use!"

i don't really hunt for anything, till i'm bored, then i just randomly browse and stop by whatever peaks my curosity.
or just sift through the complaints forum for fun. its always a good laugh reading what people complain about.
