I don't think so. If it has, I'm having a lot of trouble finding it (most foreign movies don't just by my city except at really special/obscure theaters known for it. So I'll probably have to do some hunting in the J-town dvd store instead) 

I heard that some people were pissed that the Ikki vs. Shaka fight was supposedly cut short. Other than that not much...I mean I kind of expected an uproar purist vs. new fans thing, but was it that bad?

To avoid spoiling you, the biggest controversy is the fact that tey decided to genderbend Milo.
IMO, the movie wasn´t THAT bad....could have worked better as an OVA. What with the AMAZINGS visual effects I meanholyshitthatmovielookedAWESOME

Mah...for a goddess of war, Athena is kind of a pushover. Some puppy eyes and a kid and she can't even muster enough to get mad *sigh* well I guess as far as happy endings go it still isn't quite "Disney" yet.

To be fair, Hades is her uncle. She's basically looking at the next several thousand years of being "THAT" niece at family gatherings. It makes sense that she would want to play the cute little girl card "uncle PLEASE stop being an asshole" thing first.

Although Seiya might have to train HIM out of breaking young bronzies' and trainees before they can bounce back first...you don't find saint-worthy kids growing on trees you know. There's enough of shortage, especially now that they also have to refill the steel saint rosters (preferably not with perfectly usable bronze saints)
