Yeah, I heard about that the day it happened. It's surprising how dramatic people can get to what is essentually two dudes making silly voices and burping over video games, isn't it?

In your region, you only have laughing kookaburras; blue-winged kookaburras are found in northern Australia and New Guinea. I thought you might find that interesting. And I saw a documentary (by PBS I think) about kangaroos encroaching in urban environments. Have you heard about this?

...Huh, the more you know! I know they're a type of kingfisher (We've seen a few of those as well!).

Heard about it? I've seen them skipping up and down the street in the morning! They're actually becoming quite a pest around here, so much so that they've started culling the poor things. I wish they didn't have to do that...

I didn't know Australia has kingfishers. That's so cool! The united states only has 3 species of kingfisher, compared to your 10 (or 8, depending on whether you count the 2 species of kookaburras).
I imagine the roos overgraze in areas where they're most common. That's probably why they're culled (when you say culled, do you mean they're just collected or they're killed?).
