"CRYSTAL FLOWERING!" FWASH! said Barnum as he releases a crystal from his palm
"Look out!" Cried Marcus as both he and Luffy avoided the attack, as the crystal lands on the ground and it blooms like a flower.
Right after that, both the adventurer and the captain use their speed to evade the shards launched by the tyrant, which turns into flowers that bloom.Β FWASH!Β FWASH!Β FWASH!Β And then, Luffy dissapears and reappears right in front of Barnum with a twisted Haki-coated fist.
"Gum-Gum HAWK RIFLE!!!" The ignition of the launch ignites the attack on fire, and just before it touches Barnum's chest....he shatters into several pieces that fly around the captain and reconstructs back into himself behind Luffy.Β
POW! Barnum hits the captain with a punch that launches him to the tyrant's throne CRASH! and breaks it when he lands on i

For Barnum, this was something he couldn't believe: Straw Hat Luffy had run all the way towards his palace, and now, he's in front of him. But Marcus, in the other hand, was happier to see that his new friend came to the rescue.
"How the hell did you managed to get here?" Asked the tyrant both shocked and angry.
"I came here to stop you and take Marcus back to her daughter!" Reassured the captain on a fighting stance.
"Yes, you'll take him...but it will be IN PIECES!!" Cried Barnum as he launched a spike from his palm, only for Luffy to dodge it, right after he pumps blood through his body.
"GEAR SECOND" With that said, the rubber man jumped forth and dissapeared...only to reappear in front of the illusionist. "Gum-Gum JET WHIP!"

Several minutes ago, it started the battle between the Montressor Corps and the forces of Alexander Barnum for the sake of assuring the freedom of the citizens of the island and the future of the world. And even the Straw Hats, who were brought by Zoey and his father, were fighting against The Gifted, Barnum's disciplesΒ

Meanwhile, the real tyrant was on his palace's throne room, contoling both his and the other replicas. And behind him, there was Marcus, who was handcuffed.
Several moments ago, Barnum recieved the surprise of his life when he discovered that the Insurgency was more bigger than he expected, due the fact that his powers don't work underground. Now, he was drawing his attention to his hostage.

The Straw Hats were about to face the followers of Alexander Barnum: Zoro and Sanji against Jason and Oliver, Nami and Robin against Diana DuLethal and the team of Usopp, Chopper, Blizzard, Brook, Franky, Aika and Kumi against Dimitri. Meanwhile, Luffy was heading to Barnum's palace to rescue Marcus.
At the same time, the troops of the Insurgency were about to fight the tyrant's army as Zoey goes in front line, sheaths her sword and raises it to the sky. This makes the Montressor Corps to make a battle-cry so powerful, that even Decoy Barnum and his replicas could sense tense.

Back at the HQ's Command Center, Lawrence was watching from the main screen how the troops were excited to start the battle as he was getting a cup of tea.

It's actually good. I know there are some typos here and there, but seeing past that, it's an interesting take on One Piece. You have characters that have superpowers not caused by Devil Fruits, and they appear difficult to beat. I'm interested in where this is all going, mainly because your story reminds me of Strong World, a One Piece Movie.
I'm looking forward to the coming battle. Keep it up!Β

Each of them are pretty cool in they're own way.
Barnum sort of reminds me of Vlad Masters mixed with 2012 Shredder. Vlad wanted the attention of a woman and has a dislike for her husband due to what happened in his past, while Shredder has tried to dodge the blame with some incidents that have happened, and grows to become a more underhanded foe driven by rage.Β
Zoey is pretty awesome, worthy of being the next Robinson explorer. However, I can't help but feel she's overpowered for the story. But that's just me.Β
