# About me

I am a 14 year old girl who has been interested in nature and photography since the age of 5 when I would disappear in our woods before my parents were awake to take pictures. Having usurped my mother's Olympus camera, I would spend hours on our property photographing the birds, snakes and whatever else I could find during my outdoor adventures. So far, I have gone through 6 different cameras and currently am shooting with a Canon 7D and Canon 100-400mm lens. I was published in my first national magazine at the age of 7 after winning Ranger Rick's photo contest and since that time, I have won more than 30 photo contests, both local and worldwide. Although I love taking photographs of nature and animals, my primary focus in regards to my photography is birds. My goal is to combine my love for photography and nature into a life-long profession. In addition I love other art like painting and drawing.

Hi! Thank you very much! Your galley is amazing too! I especially love the Great Grey Owl shots. I've been wanting to see one for years but they never seem to come down to New York, other than on the very northern border between Canada and NY.
