I've found that it's unusual to find isometric game sprites, so it was a bit refreshing to see your tactics mock-up here on DA.

Hey, I'm doing pretty good. I have been busy with school and, despite having an art class, art has dropped significantly on my list of priorities. So... when I try to draw or pixel or whatever, I tend to get frustrated... so I haven't posted anything, and hardly finished any projects for class.
Aside from the art stuff, life's pretty good. The Yukon trip was fun, University's been pretty enjoyable so far, I've taken up Squash, and I've been having more good times with good friends!
How are things going with you?
I've been meaning to mention that, even though I started watching you for pixel art, I'm loving your oekaki art lately. You've just got a great style and seem to be able to let loose and be expressive much more. I love your use of color and line, and the way you occasionally bend perspective or anatomy.
I come by DA... oh... three times a month. Give or take a bit. So, yeah, talk to ya later.

I was begining to wonder where you went.
Is art your major? It may seem a dumb question, but I've picked up mixed signals about it and was just wondering. And don't worry to much about swiftly losing an interest in art. With your talent, you'll have no choice but to pick it up again. Normally when I get that way, I just do small stuff until I feel good enough to pick up the big stuff again. (ok, maybe that logic only made sense to me) Arts my addiction I suppose haha.
I'm glad someone other then me noticed my change.Thank you. One day i'm making random sketchy covers for my class Folders and then suddenly sketches is all I did. I do injoy it more then the uniform pixel stuff.

My major is in English, though that's only something I chose to allow me to have a major but also to take a wide variety of courses. I may as well have gone with an undeclared major, as this year is mostly about trying all sorts of courses that looked interesting to me. My experience so far has me thinking I might change my major to Computer Science, but nothing is decided yet and there's still a whole other semester to go.
I'm glad that you found a new kind of art style that you like; you've been making some really nice drawings in it.

Hmm... you've got a lot of redundant stuff in your gallery that could be moved to scraps. It would help clean it up.

Thanks! I had a couple versions of Bowser on Pixeltendo to get some crits and figure out which one people liked best, but it didn't get enough comments and I've decided I like this one best. Glad to read a postive responce
You should finish your SPP star sprites, and upload the sheet to dA. I remember that you had some animations worked out, but they needed some tweaking.

That is, I canceled my internet to save money and to persue other interests, since DA was (and is) quite a time consuming addiction.
Now I'm addicted to a pixel art forum, and DA is growing on me again.

Yeah, I was rather addicted to browing DA (so much art), and I went without internet for a few months, so I've been gone for a long time.
I recently read that the new gallery director for the pixel art gallery is looking to seriously clean it up. That's basically what brought me back here.
Now I'm trying to look through the 1200+ deviations I missed that are in my dev watch
I'll try and get around to posting my newest sprites and commenting on lots of deviations over the next couple weeks.
