Hey, just reading through your stamps (100% not paedo-y at all ) and the term 'middle school' is bugging me. What does it mean? I get elementary, and high school, but at what age is one when they enter middle school?

I'm English you see, so the education shizzle is different here. And I figured you could answer my question?

Middle school commonly goes from roughly 11-14. To put it in perspective, I'm in my last year of middle school, and I'm 13, but my pals in the same grade are 14. When I started my first year of middle school, I was 11, my pals were 12. In terms of grades, Elementary goes from kindergarten to fifth grade, middle goes from sixth to eighth grade, and high school goes to twelfth grade. Every grade is about a year.
By the way, don't be afraid to talk to me because I'm young. I'm pretty dang mature, I'd say, and I'd hate to chase people off over something I can't control.

Ahh I see. Whoa, so that's like, three schools one attends as they move up? It's only two over here: primary (ages 4/5-11) to secondary (11-16) that excludes further education of course.

And no worries, I'm only four years older than you so I'm not fussed

Yeah, it can be stink. As soon as you get comfortable in the school you're in, you move to another one. :/
I know the way the British education system works. I think the Americas are one of the only places that do the whole system of elementary, middle, to high. My Russian friend's system is a lot like yours. European education is some of the best, I've heard, so Britan's might be good if it's copying it. I personally think western education kinda stinks, at least the public schools.
I'll stop myself before I chat your ear off. XD

Ahh haha :D (Big Grin) Well, yeah by 'education' they often mean 'indoctrinating' too ;) (Wink) Personally though I'm pretty grateful for my education and it's served me well (obviously, like loads!) But then I'm someone who likes school <:

Hah, yeah. My school system isn't the best and it's outdated, but I can't really expect more. I'm grateful for my education too. I'm not the best student, but I get A's, B's, and I've never gotten a lunch detention.
I'm a nerd, too. Just for other reasons. XD

Same, I mostly get Bs :) (Smile) Well, I did at GCSE, as well as Cs, but at A level I mostly get B grades, which is really good and I'm super chuffed with myself ^_^
