It varies. Some go extremely fast, because I have a good idea of what I want to put in the chapter, while some go slower.

Unfortunately, though, I have been a hell of a lot busy with my study, which is why I haven't written anything in ages.

A quirk or trait or whatever you want to call it, that I have, is that I have the tendency to write 5 chapters at a time, and then stop working on the series altogether. Sometimes I pick them up again afterwards, sometimes I leave them laying around for far too long. I do always try to work on them, but inspiration is a fickle thing.

I hate it when I have homework, and I get an awesome idea for something I have no time to work on.

I hear ya, I always got the same issue as well. To make it even worse, my study is Computer Engineering, where I am currently studying Java. So, when I am doing homework, I get inspiration for writing. When I am writing, I get inspiration for programming.
Frustration galore.
