I would personally recommend Insane-Mane, KuroTamashisan, PaulUndead33, O-R-Ash, Darksilvania, IrenHorrors, Picolo-kun, and nicholaskole.

I would also recommend EtheringtonBrothers to help you get started on artwork. I know you said it's not your thing, but if you ever change your mind, I think this guy(s) could help. Their deviations (which, at the moment, are pages from their latest book) regularly make the front page and they give all sorts of tips on how to draw just about everything - tree roots, arms and hands, horses, snakes, capes, food trucks, even perspectives for scenery/comic panels. Really, you can look up a lot of tutorials on this site on just about anything if you scroll long enough.

But don't scroll too long. As I'm sure you probably know, for every amazing piece of artwork on this site, there's, like, ten different fetish pieces somewhere . . .

Probably here, now that I think about it. The Notes option (the equivalent of PMs) don't seem to have character limits, only how many you can send in a single thread before you have to make a new one.

And hey, a quick response to your PMs on FF (of which I should really finish the original set of replies . . .), there's no need to rework Vanity. I really like her the way she is, all mysterious and vague. It leaves a lot of room to expand her character as needed, without having to worry about how it will clash with things. Imagine it like trying to fit together two puzzle pieces from different puzzle sets - it's so much easier when one of those pieces is like gel and can be molded as needed, you know?
