 it's actually pretty cold this year at my house... it hasn't been like this for a while. it was about 9 degrees last night, and keep in mind that we don't have a heating system because its a hot country .. but i guess all kinds of wierd things are happening.. like snowing in egypt and in vietnam.. I hope it snows here too!! would be very awesome XD

I'm okay I guess. I'm kind of disappointed with myself for not taking advantage of my break. I'm going to regret it.

Christmas here? It's okay. It was sunny and then it rained in the evening. For me it was okay. My mom got most of the presents and I was a little sad they didn't give me any books. Actually, they got really good presents.The ones they got me...I'm not sure why they got me some of the stuff... 

Then we had to spend the rest of  the day cleaning because my dad decided to invite his friends over. =_=

Winter for us is....81 degrees Fahrenheit in the day and 75 degrees at night.

!!! wow.. i never thought i'd find anyone else who would be happy to get books as christmas presents X) Most people would look at me wierdly when I'd say i wanted a book for a gift  

Sometimes i think a book was a better present than any other gifts my parents got me ( for example things like some fancy soap thing or a bracelt ..>.< ) I never really wear or use them anyways... 

probably better than my christmas I spent the whole 25th on a plane going back home, so basically sitting cramped in a seat for 12 hours...

Thats great, if you're not expecting a white chrsitmas.. because I think that kind of weather is much nicer than freezing your limbs off and without any snow... P

Really? 0.0 I know what you mean, my mom gave me some kind of body lotion which is great, but there was a book that came out in October and I decided not to get it myself because I thought that it would give them something to get them....and my mom forgot...actually I'm not sure how my parents got me the stuff they did because I told them what I'd like and even printed out pages from the website and wrote out how to do stuff (them being challenged in all ). In all I think they only got me one thing from what I asked for and that was a Itunes gift card

True. That sounds like it sucks. You must have been really cramped and sore.

Well, you'd be crazy to expect a white Christmas here 7_7 The only spot that gets snow is on top of one mountain and it's not worst going up there. Its too dangerous and besides it has to rain a LOT to get snow. 

I suppose that's true. I wouldn't know. I've never had a white christmas before

X)) I'm always making resolutions and then when the time comes I cave in to my weaknesses This new year I will be strong! XDD lol... I have this whole list of things to accomplish for this upcoming 2014.

Which book were you going to get? Have you read the book 'the hundred year old man who climbed out of the window and disappeared' ? I read it and loved the book! The author just finished another one called 'the an alphabet who could count' and I decided for it to count as my Christmas present ^^ I bet the story is just as great as the first one (fingers crossed ) 

X)) hahaha , yes, exactly... Once I wrote a list and all the procedures and my dad just looked at it and laughed.. -.-  so I learned.. That I would never spend time to write an 'essay' again .

Yeap... I haven't had a single day of just sitting at home since school ended.. 'Cuz I'm moving houses and there's a lot to do and I just got back from working at the Christmas market with my dad... I'm thinking maybe I should just quit school and dedicate my time to work 24/7? XPP hahaha 

Me neither... I've lays tried imagining sitting in front of a fireplace drinking hot chocolate while snow is falling outside and all these Christmas lights are on around the house and the neighborhood >< ~

Ha I'm the same way, but I gave up on myself a while ago. I try not to think I'm making a resolution for myself otherwise I won't do it. I just sort make it more a like a to do list that I make everyday...that sounded not only really boring, but a lot of work  Bad word choice on my part.

Really? I'll defiantly check it out. I'm going on a European trip with my teacher and some class mate on this thing called semester at sea (we're only doing half of it) and I'll DEFIANTLY need something to read. When have at least one 10 hour layover and then a direct 10 hour flight

That's too bad, ha , your ALREADY working 24/7. But at school at least you can get some sort of a break....I think...I don't know how your school works

That's so cool! where in europe are you going? Is it a class field trip or just for some students only? That's reallly awesomeee!! Are you going to the meditteranean? that's really lucky~~

An old teacher of mine that taught me in 6th grade recently wrote an email to me and my other buddy and he also proposed a sort of 10 day trip to Italy with a few other students from another school. It's taking place in April, when we have the Thai new year and our school has a 1 week holiday. I really want to go but I don't think my other friend can go and I don't really want to make the trip alone with just strangers... I hope i can convince a friend to go with me, because it's like a once in a life time opportunity right?? >< 

Hey maybe our paths will even cross? who knows? XDD that would be funny and cool at the same time ahhaha

Welll.. the progress is going quite well.. but it's a bit further from the city than my old house and we live right next to the forest... it's great in a way but kind of freaky at night... though I haven't stayed there yet since the house is still being built.. but.. you can imagine it right? next to the woods.. only a few neighborss.. electircity isn't fully installed.. yeah P I'm going to need to get a reeally big dog XPP haha

XDD ahha that's what i told my parents... i was like.. wow, now i'm not that thrilled about graduating and having to face all the responsibilities and work and all the grown up stuff yet >< 

well my dad says my school could be compared to a vacation camp because we're all so lazy and barely get enough stuff to do.. but that's my dad.. and i'm thinking parents always say there's not enough work for us and somehow even when we do things we manage to seem lazy

I've always dreamed about doing that too!! just laying around with heaps of snow and have some sort of snow house (igloo) and have some chocolate ( i love chocolate ) and some hot drink... or just staring at the sky.. and seeing the billions of stars ^^ you know, i once just laid down in my back yard and all the lights were off so you could see the sky really well.. and if you wait long enough and don't look away, there will always be a shooting star somewhere, suddenly appearing when you lay really still..

Hmmm, I'm not sure of the order ,but England, Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, Denmark?, and Iceland. 

I know what you mean. I always love to go to Iceland so of course I wanted to go on this trip, but I didn't want to go without any friends. I got really lucky. One of my friends, Daniel, is going and he's one of the more mellow friends. 

The trip is originally a true semester at sea, but schools like mine do only the second half of it. I get .5 science credit. I go with my teacher, but it is a totally optional trip ....a 7,000 USD  optional trip.

That would be fun and funny. Though, we would even know if we did pass each other. Should I write "MidnightSNow17" on my forehead?  

It's kind of weird when you think about it.  I think of you as a real friend, but it's only a internet relationship. That part is kind of sad. Though, I understand the dangers of strangers, information, and the internet. This may be random, but do you image I look like?  

Welcome to the joys of building a house or remodeling. Having a big dog in that situation would be comforting. I have two large dogs and a small one. They shed ....a lot

I know. School is a lot of work, but I don't want to even think about the work of the future. I'm thinking about becoming a cardiologist or a radiologist....I might be a little crazy

I think it would be fun for about a ...week? but living in snow all the time would be horrible. 

I know right, I would love to do that. Once there were soooooo many stars at my house you could see the milky way, but now the vog from the volcano doesn't allow super clear nights. But still. hahah I kind of want to be purposed to under the northern lights....and then run to some place warm

hoooollyy crapp X) that is epically awesomely cool >< I am so jelous heheh That's so great! I wish i got an opportunity to go on a trip like that AND get credit for it ! yeap , going with a friend is important because then you have more fun and a buddy to talk to and explore with ^^ 

wooww.. 7000... that's a lot... my trip cost around half of that.. but then again it's only in Italy...

Tell me about it! I'm literally breaking my back over this because of all the stuff i have to carry and help to build sometimes... yup.. i hope it's better than having 5 cats.. ( crazy cat lady right here XD haha but in my defense they live outside and barely ever come into the house)

We just watched a movie on the volcano Krakatoa and a scene where there was a lot of fog in the sky looked like a very stormy day.. do ashes fall from the vog? or is it pretty harmless?

Let's see. I'm about 5 feet 2 inches or 157 cm aka short. I have brown hair that's above my shoulder. It has blonde and red in it when in the sun. I have brown eyes that turn almost chestnut when I look at the sun. My friends call me mochi-chan because I have pale skin and my cheeks apparently have the consistency of mochi =_=. They also told me I'll forever me mochi. I'm skinny, but my athletic skills  well, I don't have the muscles of my wrestler or swimmer friends.    I'm half Taiwanese  so my eyes have that almond shape. 

I know right. I recently found that the bottom of my backpack is wearing out.

Hahaha don't worry I have a friend who has seven cats. I don't know how she does that. I told she already a old cat lady and she's only 15. 

No kidding. I'm sort of dreading it. Right now I cannot decide if senior year I want to take AP Statistics or Hawaiian 1. I want to take Hawaiian so I can take a part of Hawaii with me, but in reality AP Stats is a better choice.

That's so cool. I live 15 minutes away from the second biggest city on our island so you cannot as many starts now. But at the observatory you can even seen planets in the telescopes. I saw Jupiter once. I have to admit it was pretty cool.

No ashes don't fall. If the volcano erupted like that we'd be in trouble. No vog is sort of like....haze? I guess.
