Aah, thank you! the hyena's a fursona i guess, but there's kind of a funny story behind that! My old fursona, Mayhem, somehow like divorced me and became her own separate character. I'm a hyena therian, so i just drew myself as a hyena as a placeholder and I guess it just stuck! It's gotta be the weirdest way to acquire a fursona i've ever heard. makes for a weird story to tell, though!

that is a really cool fursona story. I used to have a persona that turned into a character of mine in a storyline with my other characters. I kinda moved on to a different persona and she become a story character. My current persona Nyna and Xkura are the same person... Xkura appears from Nyna as her own person and represents a personality I had prior. Nyna is the major part of my character and she represents me now, she holds my purest emotions and thoughts, whereas Xkura is more tsundere/ yandere in my persona storyline. She represents my past and the anger I held pent up, as well as my negative emotions and thoughts. They both wear eyepatches when they want to hide their other self. My main fursona at the moment is a rainbow striped tigress. Nyna and Xkura, my persona are blue and pink striped tigresses. I am currently working on designing an alternate gender fursona for myself as well (I hope that's not too complicated?). o_o I am talking too much I will shut it now... hahaha

ahaha, you're not talking too much, that's really cool! i've never really had a 'backstory' behind any of my fursonas, except for one that was kinda styled after a cotton candy version of one of the pets on  a petsite i used to frequent. Most of my fursonas i've just randomly come up with while listening to music that gave me motivation to design them. None of them have ever really had much significance to me personally other than being aesthetically pleasing at the time, so they changed really often as my aesthetic focus shifted. I hope the added personal significance of my current fursie makes ehr stick around longer (; ´∀｀)

I hope so too, I like your current fursona haha, my current is long standing the longest I have held a specific persona of any type TBH. But she is not a furry per say, so I have been working on designing one for myself for some time now.

 if you're working on a fursona, i totally recommend listening to  a song that really gives you motivation to draw something! that's where all my inspiration comes from. www.colourpod.com/ also has a ton of really good palettes if you need color inspiration, sometimes jsut looking at a good pallette can give you some great ideas!

colourpod looks like I can get a lot from it, I am having ideas pop in my head just looking at a few of the pallets... as for music though... my current selection has me in a funk and I havent found any current music to give me inspiration as of lately. Have any suggestions?
