"Ohh, I see~" she said, even though she had little to no knowledge of 'chi'. She wanted to ask Patchouli about that later. It wasn't too windy, just a little breeze, so she didn't have to grip her parasol handle as tight. The wind played with her blonde hair as she flew. "Umm..where are we, Meiling?" she asked, looking down to see trees, trees, and more ..trees.

Flandre stared at the temple. It wasn't too fancy, but somewhat close to Reimu's in appearance. Now that she wondered, what is the difference between a temple and a shrine? They only looked a little different, from what she can see. She would have to ask Meiling later.

Flandre wandered around the interior of the huge mansion. It had been a while since her last break-out. "Hmm..I wonder where everyone went..." she mumbled quietly. The fairy maids were busy like mice, occasionally bumping into the small vampire. "Hey! Watch it, fairy!" she hissed with venom, ignoring the frightened look on their faces.

Meiling had no idea that she was heading right for Flandre at that time, and, not watching where she was going, bumped into her. "Ah!... Excuse me.... Young Mistress Flandre?" She said with a tinge of surprise in her voice.... and smiled warmly.

Meiling giggled a little bit at the offer, and knew a good way to make it look like she could do a lot more than she likely could. "In that case, follow me, Young Mistress~" She said as she held her hand and walked there, grasping it very gently.

As if confirming, Meiling began pushing one of the cases. Now normally, she'd only need one hand, but Patchouli kept a lot of books. She managed to move this case a fair distance, with about 3 to go.

Flandre pushed the shelf towards where Meiling pushed hers, and surprisingly, with ease. "This seems easy~" she said as the shelf finally neared where the other shelf was. "Is here okay, Meiling?" She asked.

"Sure thing, Meiling~" She hurried over to the shelf, and placed her grip on it, careful not to claw it by accident or destroy it with her strength. With her hands on either side of the case, she lifted it up, just a few cm above ground, and flew over to the rest of the shelves. With lots of effort, she slowed down her wings's pace, and slowly floated down to the floor, not letting the shelf go, and placed it on the floor gently. Flandre wiped some sweat off her forehead with her hand for dramatic effect and made it look like she actually used up her strength then turned to Meiling, waiting.

Meiling herself had to be careful to keep her chi in check as she pushed the case. She was very cautious about dropping any books, lest she be in for a tongue lashing from Patchouli later that day. This is why she took to pushing the cases, herself. "There we are... now we can put in those new shelves once the artisans actually finish them." She said with a hearty laugh as she walked over to Flandre, patting her with a warm smile. "Thank you, Young Mistress..."

"Well... aside from guarding the gate, I'm done for the day, so I don't know what else to do." Knowing that the sun was still out, she probably couldn't take Flandre without one of those Parasols. And she didn't know where to find them either.

"Oh, no problem Meiling! I'll just get my parasol!" Flandre ran towards the staircase that leads down to the basement. After she got down the flight of stairs, she went into her room and searched for her summer parasol. "Hm..where could it be?" Something pointy caught her red eyes and she smiled, "Aha! There it is! Knew it was somewhere around here." She pulled it out slowly, afraid to break the handle with her strength. She opened it and checked for holes or openings that sunlight may pass through. When she saw none, she headed back upstairs to meet up with the gate-guard. "Meiling~ Meiling~ I found it!" she exclaimed happily.

Meiling was sleeping on her usual afternoon nap, when she felt something poking her. Groggily, she stood up and Yawned.

"Oh, hello, little girl... I don't think I've seen you here before..." She said with a warm smile. "What brings you to the Scarlet Devil Mansion?" She inquired to the Satori.

'Urgh...' She thought. 'How long have I been asleep?'

Satori watched the gate guard get up. As she put the stick back on the ground, she stood up as well.

"Just visiting.." She spoke, blankly staring at the youkai. "....Why were you asleep, anyway?" It was a bit rude of Satori to start reading the youkai's mind, but how could she not? It is her ability, after all. The question didn't seem out of place, so it's not very reconizable that Satori read her mind.

Meiling rubbed the back of her head nervously. "I generally nap for thirty or so minutes so I can keep up my stamina at night..." She said with a grin. "The night shift can be rough." She said with a strong laugh and a warm smile.
