Thanks for the honor of assisting with the character's "lifeforce", so to speak. Here is my offering of creativity for you. It felt like I was in the groove and that doesn't happen enough as we all know. I feel good about it and I hope you will be pleased.
The Soul Shimmer
Upon the Plane of Souls Tormented,
Lurk the minds of wanton demented.
For they know not, that which they seek,
The halves of their souls that were taken in sleep.
Drifting the Plane, shapes of light and of dark,
Depicting remains,
Extreme good,
Extreme evil,
Inevitably insane.
As night not exists without light, βtis the same,
Within the being of The Soul Shimmer name.
Both dark and light, evil and good,
Male and female, it will be as it should.
As needed for the hunt,
To maneuver and win
Dark as Simlay
Light as Simlyn
The two are the souls of this whisper within.
Through shadow or light, this hunter will slip
Through The Takerβs dominion to loosen the grip.
A shimmer in shadow?
A glimpse in the light?
Who dare steal his minions?
Under his powerful sight!
Simlyn glistens along shards of light
To easily move amongst half souls so bright
Guiding them slowly down thru shades of their colors
The mystery clears as the feelings grasp of the power
In the hunger of hate.
Greed seeds every hour,
