@__@ overload on recommendations and comments on Neil's Awesomeness!!!
I'll do my best to look up the books and read them and whatnot. I hope that the move does turn out good, now too. Considering how big Gaiman is as an author, I think it'd be strange if he couldn't get the actor he wanted. (unless of course the actor themselves turned down the invitation to be awesome)

Awesome! I'll say right now, I've only read all of the Sandman series, Anansi Boys, a little of Neverwhere (it was at my friend's, a library copy, so I couldn't abscond with it right then) , and a graveyard book (I think that's the title? I'm tired). any recommendations based on what you've read?

umm, try his short story collections like Smoke and Mirrors and Fragile Things, then American Gods (somehow connected with Anansi Boys), also give Good Omens (co-written with Terry Pratchett) a try, it's sooo funny . Also, try Coraline (it's a must if you're into Neil Gaiman)and Interworld. There are lots more i haven't read though.

my mom has Good Omens, I've seen it and been wanting to read it (but my schoolwork.... I know the basic story of Coraline (only from the vid; mom says it wasn't as good as the book) When I heard there was a Nancy character in American Gods, I instantly knew who that was, but it was my friend's for his english project, so I didn't get to it... I know I've heard of fragile things from somewhere... If I ask my mom, she could give me all those once she found em, she's where I got my love for Neil Gaiman.

kudos to your awesome mom for loving neil gaiman
and graveyard book is being made into a movie, i think...
i tell you, that book's ending made me bawl like a baby.
and i'm still keeping my fingers crossed that death: the high cost of living is still considered for a movie (and i hope that neil gaiman really manages to get ellen page to play death, cause he thinks she's so perfect for the role)

Good omen's is so hilarious, so you should really read it. The Coraline movie wasn't bad, if anything it can be as good as the book, it gives a bit more thoughtful representation of Coraline, but the book is still the best. I've got to warn you, American Gods doesn't share the humor that Anansi Boys has, it's darker but you'll love the twist at the end and how the story is structured and the characters are so interesting with their own stories (i think that gaiman should make books about some of them). it's because of American Gods that i want to go to the House on the Rock someday
american gods has a sort of sequel in fragile things, it's called Monarch of the Glen ( you know how gaiman loves beowulf, so this story has elements similar to beowulf)and i also recommend the story Sunbird in Fragile Things.
Smoke and Mirrors is very dark and violent compared to Fragile Things but you should read Baby Cakes (you won't wanna eat meat after reading this), Troll Bridge, Snow, Glass, Apples (a dark retelling of Snow White that'll actually make you cringe) and Murder Mysteries (my favourite, it's so good ) if you manage to get a copy of Smoke and Mirrors
