My good subject Pinkie Pie told me she had taken to congratulating some humans on their birthdays, but even she has her limits. So she asked us for a bit of assistance... and for such friends of ponykind, we feel it right to provide it.

How do you vector so WELL? How long have you been doing vector work and what advice would you have for someone interested in starting to do vector art?

I've been vectoring a bit over a year and a half now, wow time is flying by. But just sitting down and doing and asking for feedback is the fastest way to improve in my opinion. Even now I still ask friends who vector how something looks or if there is anything I can do to make something look better or if something is just not quite right. For someone looking at starting vector I'd recommend checking out tutorials for Inkscape/Ponyscape on Youtube as well as the group #Learn-MLP-Vectors all sorts of really good tutorial material there. Usually about once a year I'll take on a student for some advanced stuff, but if you're interested in feedback on anything you make while vectoring just let me know and I can maybe offer some pointers. ^^Β Don't expect to turn out perfect vectors every time quickly to start out with. What takes me an hour or two now used to take me over 11 or 12 hours to do. Thanks for the compliment on my vectoring, but there are way better vector artists out there than I. I do my best though.
