Changing my reviews up and just wanna say, this game is fun
I know theres alot of bugs and terrible decisions Hi-Rez have made, but
Overall, game's fun!
First up, this game isn't a clone of Overwatch, it's a fun, standalone and exciting game, you got a shitload of hero- I mean "Champions" to choose from, from a demon godslayer to a noble man of the law to even a bird sniper, this game contains characters with different sets of weapons and abilities to choose from, and allow players to pick their own playstyle, not to mention cards and loadout creating just supports my statement here. They're able to boost the characters ability, making and setting them different from each other.
You can have 2 Zhins on both teams, but they aren't the same, at all.
Talents(Legendary Cards) will be the primary boost, they grants you things like 90% shield deploy or exploding arrows instead of stunning arrows. They're pretty good and unique.
Skins...
Oh boy this one,
back in the days you can mix and match cosmetics, I'm still mad and pissed off that they removed that feature and instead giving us skins that doesn't match it at all, like Demon Jenos. The little skins in the Battle Pass are like, headgears... Like a frog hat for Lex and paper bag for Sha Lin, which would look hella good and better if they were CUSTOMIZABLE IN MIX AND MATCH!
Battle Pass, pay 500, get 100 and some golds back, along with some skins
Yeah it's good, Exarch is a AWESOME skin, Neon Demon is good, and that's aight.
If you played Paladins on Mobile(PaladinsStrike), Strike Maeve is a free skin you can get by linking your account with it, along with Covert Ops Lex

As much as I like and even LOVE this game, the new OB68 kills the game for me
I really like Paladins, people like to call it the "poor-man's Overwatch", but in my opinion it's really not a clone of OW, and it's a standalone and a fun game.
But the new OB68 ruined everything I like about the game, and I'm here to say why.
First up, "Quest"
We get to do a "quest" everyday, we get money for logging in, and rewards for playing.
BUT, if you're a poor and broke player like me, who doesn't want to spend IRL money on game, you'll probably agree to what I'm gonna say,
The old quest system,
2 easy quest with money and VIP as rewards, and 1 big quest with Crystals and VIP as reward.
Alot of us probably did the big quest just to get those crystals, I think we can all agree to that.
But the new OB68 removed that, and replaced all of them with normal and easy quests.
That just ruined it for me, cause I've to spend that long, that whole week just to get some crystals from daily logging rewards.
Second of all, the cosmetics system
One of the reasons why I like this game alot is because you can mix and match cosmetics like TF2.
You can have great cosmetics combos, like Jenos' Jason Mask and the Millenium makes up a badass looking god character. You can have Viktor with the DOOM outfit and wears an eyepatch to look like somesort of menacing looking leader guy.
But the new OB68 removed that feature, and you can only wear 1, JUST 1 COSMETICS AT A TIME
The Jason Mask looks bland now, just a default Jenos with a different mask.
Not only that, everytime you play a match, the items you have for your Champions will reset, meaning you'll have to equip them again on match everytime you want to use it, or you'll stuck with the default guns and stuff.
Third, the menu
Ascension Peak is great, but the old menu
Just the old menu brings and makes the game unique, but the new loading screen makes me sick.
I know this game wants to be successful like Overwatch, but do you really have to go as far as making the ALMOST SAME MENU SCREEN FROM OVERWATCH?
Really Hi-Rez? If you want to be successful and better, make something unique of your own.
Fourth, the voice packs
The old voice packs, you can just get em for a few golds, but now
NOW YOU'VE TO SPEND 200 CRYSTALS JUST TO GET A SINGLE VOICE PACK FOR A SINGLE CHAMPION!
What the fuck? Did you know how hard 200 crystals is to get them?
I would've just spent them on skins like Tribalman for Grohk and Justice for Lex.
The only thing I like about this fucking update is you can now get common items back.
I'm trying to save up to get the Justice skin for Lex, and probably one for Skye, the Pilot.
Common's are great, and they're sometimes better than Epic and Legendary skins.
So Hi-rez, if you would please bring the good shit back, me and some of my friends, or possibly the community would be happy.

GOD HI-REZ, WHY DO YOU DO THIS?!
Viktor is supposed to be a old war veteran soldier type of guy, not somesort of sort of chinese bootleg version of it. Viktor's got the typical "I lost all my comrade in a mission and I take the blame" cliche type of backstory, but the new Viktor doesn't seems to have that type of "look and feel" to it. The gun is nice, grenade is odd and the skin is shit, done.
The new Viktor should be a skin instead in my opinion, like Young Viktor or something.
The new Viktor just doesn't work, in my and alot of my friends opinion.
Battle Pass, couldn't care less about it. The new skins for Jenos, Ruckus, Androxus and Grohk are absolutely fantastic and wonderful, they are really good and badass looking.
The Mobile skins are also okay, ish. Covert Ops Lex is definitely a yes, Paladins Strike Maeve is just plain lazy, just give Dreamhack Maeve their mobile logo and some recolors and WALAH! A new "skin", although it's pretty lazy, I still like it and I appriciate their effort and time they spent on making these skins. But please make voice packs purchasable with gold instead of crystals, which is still bullshit in my, or everyones opinion.
Also, rip VIP, rest in potato
