Well...whatever we decide to show. I'm thinking that we'll lease a space in Sanford and Sons for the month of August. Lillian's likely to have paintings and some torsos, as well as whatever she wants. I'd like to have photographs and knitting and stuff. I don't know what other people will show, or who else will be involved, or if we'll have any kind of theme. Tomorrow Lillian and I are going to plan more of it out. I've been procrastinating until she was back on Vashon.

Oh, about the show. I've decided that the theme I'm going to play with is flight, both in animals and human technology and imagination, 'cause it's crazy shit.

The first volume is OK, but the second is great. I think you'd like it.

Yes, that's true. I'm just annoyed that their link to 'about' the anthology doesn't work, on any of the issue pages, and nowhere do they really give a reason for why the heck it's named 'Flight.' It's just too cool of a name to use thoughtlessly.

All the stories in it have something to do with either physical flight or the concept of flight. Even if the main character just carries a helium balloon around it counts.
There's areally nice one about the man who makes clouds.

Feathers are fun, too. I borrowed a bunch of my brother's books to look through, since he really liked birds when he was younger. I only asked to borrow one, so when I had a large stack, walking out of his room, he was a little perturbed, and I almost dropped them, I was laughing so hard. I want to make owls.
